MUNCIE, Ind. - Northwestern at Ball State Friday, Sept. 10, 1999 Muncie, Ind. Ball State?s Sally Northcroft erupted for four second-half goals, leading the Cardinals to a 5-0 win over Northwestern in field hockey action Friday afternoon in Muncie, Ind.
Heather Weinhold got Ball State on the board in the first half, before Northcroft put on a show in the second half. Three of her goals were assisted by Kerri Schoutz.
Northwestern goalkeeper Jessica Yates made 11 saves as the Wildcats were outshot, 20-10.
NU gets right back at it Saturday, meeting Delaware in a neutral-site game in Muncie at 1 p.m.
