EVANSTON, Ill. - - The United States Men's Junior World Championship team defeated Argentina 83-71 on Monday to improve to 4-0 at the 1999 FIBA Men's Junior World Championships in Almada, Portugal. The Americans will face Brazil (3-1) on Tuesday continuing medal quarterfinal round play.
Northwestern sophomore forward Steve Lepore (North Olmsted, Ohio/St. Edward) scored seven points, on 3-of-4 shooting, in 16 minutes of action.
