Wrestling Announces Expanded TV Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. - The 10th-ranked Northwestern wrestling team is pleased to announce their expanded television broadcast schedule. This years schedule features ten matches (up from seven a year ago) as well as additional cameras and slow-motion replays. The matches can be seen every Tuesday, beginning Jan. 5, 1999, at 7 p.m. on WJYS Channel 62. Among the matches slated to be televised are dual meet showdowns against perennial power Iowa State and defending national champion Iowa. In all, six Big Ten meets will be televised in addition to the Midlands Tournament, one of the most prestigious wrestling tournaments in the country, which is hosted by Northwestern. Here is the 1998-99 broadcast schedule:
