Wildcats Lose in Paradise

Northwestern fell to 0-2 in the Rainbow Easter Baseball Tournament with a loss to host Hawaii. Sophomore J.J. Standring (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita) suffered his first loss of the season, but went 2-for-2 to extend his hitting streak to eight games. Sophomore catcher Joe Hietpas (Appleton, Wis./North) went 3-for-4 with two doubles to raise his batting average to .389.
