Despite three hits from junior second baseman J.P. Williamson (Oak Park, Ill./River Forest) and senior third baseman Nick Franzese (Barrington, Ill./Barrington), Northwestern dropped its third one-run game at Purdue in four contests this weekend. Junior left-hander Dan Padgett (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe) threw five solid innings in relief to allow the Wildcats to climb back into the game, giving up no earned runs and striking out four.
