Wildcats Drop Game One to Troy State, 13-7

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Northwestern fell to 3-6 on the season by dropping its first game of the 1999 Price Oil Blue Gray Classic, hosted by Troy State. Sophomore catcher Joe Hietpas (Appleton, Wis./North) homered in the second inning and went 3-for-5 on the day. Junior outfielder Bob Dainton (Mokena, Ill./Lockport Township) and sophomore first baseman Wes Robinson (Bradenton, Fla./St. Stephen's) each had two hits for the 'Cats.
