Notes: Christy Cochran had 11 kills to lead No. 2 Penn State to a 3-0 victory over Northwestern this evening. The Nittany Lions extended their home winning streak to 52 matches, that is tied for third longest in NCAA history. A record crowd was also on hand to witness the Penn State/Northwestern matchup. A total of 5,347 spectators were at the match, the second largest attendance mark at home for Penn State in school history.

Junior defensive specialist Jennifer Zagorski (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) had a season-high 12 kills for Northwestern. The Wildcats were held to a .068 hitting percentage for the match. They were outblocked, 23-8.

NU plays its final match of the regular season tomorrow night at Ohio State.
