EVANSTON, Ill. - Wildcat junior men's golfer Jess Daley (Kent, Wash./Kentwood) fired a final-round 70 to finish in a tie for runner-up honors at two-under-par 211 in this weekend's Wolverine Invitational, played at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich. Northwestern, ranked 13th in the country, took second place in the team standings, posting team scores of 296-282-288 for a total of 866. No. 10 Minnesota won the event at 849.
NU sophomore Luke Donald (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England) tied for seventh place at 214 while senior Josh Habig (Jasper, Ind./Jasper) tied for 15th place at 219. Team and NU's individual results appear below. Next up for the Wildcats is the Big Ten Championships, scheduled for May 14-16 in Minneapolis.
