EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's golf team, ranked 13th in the country, stands in second place after Saturday's opening two rounds at the Wolverine Invitational, being played at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich. NU posted team scores of 296-282 for a total of 578. No. 10 Minnesota leads the event at 561.
Individually, Wildcat junior Jess Daley (Kent, Wash./Kentwood) is tied for fourth place at one-under-par 141, nine strokes behind tournament leader James McLean of Minnesota. NU sophomore Luke Donald (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England) is in sixth place at even-par 142 while senior Josh Habig (Jasper, Ind./Jasper) is tied for 19th place at 146.
