Men's Tennis Falls to Michigan

The Michigan Wolverines swept all six singles matches to earn a 6-1 victory over Northwestern in the final regular season dual match for both teams. NU swept all three doubles positions for the doubles point. The win upped Michigan's record to 16-3 on the season and 9-1 in the Big Ten. Northwestern fell to 9-11 overall and 4-6 in the conference.

Senior captain Doug Bohaboy (Palo Alto, Calif.) had his seven-match singles winning streak snapped. He lost to Matt Wright at No. 1 singles (6-1, 3-6, 6-1). However, Bohaboy and sophomore Brad Erickson (Eugene, Ore.) were victorious at No. 1 doubles, downing Wright and Danny McCain, 8-2.

Northwestern returns to Ann Arbor on Thursday, April 29 for the Big Ten Championships at the Varsity Tennis Center.
