EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern freshman Emily Gilley posted a score of 78 in Friday's second round of the NCAA East Regionals in Blythewood, S.C. Gilley currently stands in a 10-way tie for 50th place at nine-over-par 153 (75-78).
There is a three-way tie for top individual honors after 36 holes. Furman's duo of Jennifer Perri and Stacey Burnett as well as LSU's Lisette Lee are tied at two-under-par 142. Furman, ranked 20th in the country, also holds the top spot in the team standings, eight strokes ahead of 14th-ranked LSU.
The final round is scheduled for Sunday morning.
