EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern freshman Emily Gilley (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) secured a top-10 finish at the GTE Memorial at College Station, Texas, Feb. 22-23. Gilley's three-round score of 236 included a 75 in the second round. As a team, Northwestern finished 10th out of 15 schools, shooting a 985. Missouri won the tournament with a 940 score. Sophomore Christie Hermes (Dixon, Ill./Newman Central) was NU's second-best finisher, tying for 44th with a 247.
The Wildcats compete again Feb. 27-28 at the Midwest Classic, a Dallas, Texas tournament they co-host with Minnesota.
