Baseball Loses Exhibition Game to Nittaidai, 7-0

HONOLULU - In a game that will be counted as an exhibition, Northwestern fell to 2-3 for the Rainbow Easter Baseball Tournament by losing to the red-hot Japanese collegiate team Nittaidai. Junior Ben Dodd (Belleville, Ill./West) struck out six in five innings for the Wildcats, and sophomore Jacob Briskman (Riverwoods, Ill./Deerfield) followed with four innings of shutout ball in relief. Junior center fielder Bob Dainton (Mokena, Ill./Lockport Township) led NU with two hits.
