Baseball Falls to Indiana, 6-4

EVANSTON, Ill. - Despite a two-run triple by junior center fielder Bob Dainton (Mokena, Ill./Lockport Township) in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wildcats fell to Indiana 6-4 and were swept in the weekend series. Freshman Zach Schara (Madison, Wis./Madison West) pitched eight innings, giving up four earned runs and striking out six. Junior first baseman Pat Thompson (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) had two hits and two RBIs for Northwestern.
