HONOLULU - Northwestern evened its record to 2-2 in the Rainbow Easter Baseball Tournament by defeating Fresno State in a high-scoring affair. Junior center fielder Bob Dainton (Mokena, Ill./Lockport Township) had three hits and four RBIs and sophomore catcher Nick Franzese (Barrington, Ill./ Barrington) had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Sophomore first baseman J.J. Standring (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita) went 1-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to 10 games, tying a Northwestern season high.
