13th-Ranked Men's Golf Tied for Lead at Kepler Intercollegiate

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's golf team, ranked 13th in the country, is tied for the lead at the Kepler Intercollegiate after Saturday's opening two rounds. NU posted team scores of 301-300 for a total of 601, tied with Wisconsin (303-298). Kent is in third place at 606. The tournament is being played at Ohio State's Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.

Individually, sophomore Luke Donald (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England) is tied with Michigan State's Matt Pumford for second place at three-over-par 147. Wisconsin's C.J. Brock stands just one stroke ahead at two-over-par 146. Wildcat junior Jess Daley (Kent, Wash./Kentwood) is tied for sixth place at 149 while junior David Shaffer (Andover, Mass./Andover) is tied for 15th place at 152.
